Bishop Remarks: Ask God, by the power of the Holy Spirit to convict us where we might feel self satisfied in things that are not what God would have us to do. Let us not lose our zeal and desire nor our humility that all we do is for the glory of God and not man.
Ministerial Training Fund Update: These funds have been distributed and appreciated globally, we continue to work with Annual Conferences to provide clarity.
Nominations for Ministry & Higher Education Commission: There are several that are nominated to continue on MHED, which is a benefit for continuity.
    Subcommittee Updates:
    ● Lay Ministry has nothing to report.
    ● Committee on Approval
    ○ The Committee on Approval passed two applicants onto the 2nd survey for approval, we will vote for each seminary separately:
    ■ Hood Theological Seminary comes before us from COA, no second needed. Passed Unanimously
    ■ Wesleyan Seminary of Venezuela comes before us from COA, no second needed. Passed Unanimously
    ○ COA is working on an August appointment with United Theological Seminary. Their status is continued through 7/31/26, which is going to cause a time constraint.
    ■ Committee on Approval moves that we extend the status for United Theological Seminary to 10/31/26 to allow ample time for due
diligence, and that Brian Ebel would correspond with them that
students matriculating before that date can complete their studies
for ordination at United. Motion passed with one abstention.
    ○ The committee on approval has other seminaries in process and that will be receiving clear communication in the coming weeks and/or months. ● BOM Cohort has nothing to report
    ● Endorsing Ministry: There is nothing to report. Leslie did bring an encouragement and reminder to keep them in prayer and be intentional about keeping them connected.
