    I. Joys & Concerns
    a. Members requested prayer for upcoming mission trips and youth camps II. Opening Prayer
    a. Meeting opened with prayer at 7:04 am
    Learning
    I. Emerging Developments in Egypt (Bishop Jones)
    a. There is an emerging opportunity in Egypt wanting to become Global Methodists. A Zoom meeting will be set up to considered an appropriate annual conference alignment.
    II. Emerging Developments in Ethiopia (Bishop Jones)
    a. The commission discussed the affiliation of approximately nine Ethiopian congregations led by Agnew. Issues included Agnew not being historically Methodist, frequent funding requests, and an annual license renewal cost of $1,700. The proposed path is to have Agnew, and his churches integrate into the Ethiopian Nazarene Conference, led by Ambasou. This requires Agnew to relinquish his other license (“Witnesses for Christ”) and commit fully to the GMC, after which training would be provided.

    i. Motion made. Seconded. Approved.
    c. A motion was made and approved recommending that Agnew and his group join the Ethiopian Annual Conference, give up his license, and submit to the conference’s leadership and training.
